Yiannis is the one of the most passionate, fully understanding and supportive to the trainees. From the day one he was very explanatory for the upcoming days, the training scopes and the expected results. The training facility was very clean, tidy and every equipment was placed and stored properly. Wet-suits, life jackets and all the PPE's were in a perfect condition and you felt the sense of safety. Upon our arrival on the river the instructor explained us the task we will perform and he took all the precaution measures and started the training. Every time that one of us finished each task, he supported us and explained what we did right or wrong and what to improve on our next effort. It was a wonderful, useful and totally worthy training. The key factor for the successful completion of the program was the training format, the equipment and the INSTRUCTOR who made it in a professional way so that each participant left sure for what he was been trained for. I will definitely recommend this program and instructor as well!!!!

Our instructor was excellent, he passed on his knowledge to us, he had very good partners and we feel safe. The courses are very well structured with very good equipment. We did a lot of practice after the theory part. The best instructor I have met I recommend him to others as well as I would choose to do other trainings. Thank you so much for this experience...

It was the best training I had ever gotten. Instructor has the greater experience that an instructor can has. He teach us everything about safety, planning, organizing and making a professional rescue. Everyone feel more comfortable with Swiftwater and floods having the best level of knowledge on this object. Thanks a lot Yiannis Holevas!

The training was very interesting and very well programmed, we had the most information out of it and the best possible result due to weather. The whole program went as planned and the instructors helped us understand.

As a trainee and graduate of the school of Mr. Giannis Holevas I would like to mention the following: In terms of infrastructure, transportation to training facilities, equipment and staff I would like to say that everything was perfect and as it should be for a training as far as training is concerned. The trainer, because he cares and loves it, he transfer it to the trainees in the right way. The training had a degree of difficulty but with the right guidance and professionalism of the trainer everything seems easier.

The program was amazing and the instructor and assistants too. Personally, I didn't find that it lack in anything and the instructors explained everything with full details, and in many cases, even added some useful info according to our needs!

The training was perfect. The instructor was well qualified. He had a lot of contagiousness. He explained everything to us in detail. We all had the opportunity to practice many times in different scenarios. Safety was the first consideration, but apart from the techniques, the instructor placed great emphasis on the team, the members, their behavior and cooperation.

The training session was outstanding! John's knowledge of the subject matter was evident, and he delivered the material in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. He use of real-world examples and interactive activities helped me better understand the concepts. His presentation skills were excellent, and his enthusiasm and energy kept me engaged throughout the entire session. Last but not least, I never felt unsafe at any time as John was always showing me the potential dangers and what measure he has taken to prevent them. John, thank you and your team for your hard work and dedication to making this training a success.

Hello..by far the best instructor i ever had (and i had plenty as a trainee and instructor as well). Feeling safe and motivated the whole time of the course!you can see the love he has for what he does and thats how i got inspired to continue my training in a new field of rescuing. I couldnt be more happy to.met this guy and his team.. amazing! Experienced/communicational/intresting!

It was indeed, a brilliant choice to take that course. We learnt a lot in a new area for us, a very pleasantly in spite of the difficulties. I absolutely recommend the course since the instructors motivated and inspire us to give our best selfs safely and with professionalism.

As a trainee I would like to say that the course was very good and we learn a lot of thinks which we use later in our job. The only negative thing that i would like to say is that the program schedule was too much and many times I was felt tired and I didn’t concentrate to the course as much as I wanted to do.

Professional job. A trainer that is more like to mentor he puts knowledge into your brain like you take a pill! I am gone join kayak metavasi again!

Yannis Holevas is a very talented instructor, and though the course was very demanding due to the weather conditions, i felt absolutely safe. Timewise, it was an (all in one week) squished course, but, we did not have the feeling of a dicount in knowledge. Yannis took advantage of every moment in order to transmit as mucth knowledge as possible, even beyond the demands of the course... And always is with a great sense of humor.

The course content was excellent, our team had the opportunity to get so much useful information, that will be needed for the purpose we have chosen to serve, as volunteer firefighters. We had a lot of practice with the ropes and complexes and learned the way and the cases that we could access swiftwater or flood in safety. The instructor Yiannis Holevas is a man full of knowledge, always ready to help and capable to answer in every question about the course and hydrological phenomena. He created a strong team, that cares for each others safety. The training provider included a really well organized environment with all the necessary tools, uniforms and equipment and also facilities for theoretical and practical training. I feel really lucky and blessed for having the opportunity to attend the course at Ioannina city and get the specific training in such a beautiful place and such a natural environment. Although the training lasted 1 week I wish it lasted longer so we could learn more things and practice more techniques. The effort put into the Kayak Metavasi/Rescue 3 Greece is amazing and I feel really thankful for having this training. Looking forward for the next time getting there!
